This Meters type lick follows the same rhythm pattern as the funky bass line of the looping jam track, but actually plays a counter melody to the bass track. Start by playing the open 5th string (A), then picking the barred notes (1st & 2nd strings) on the 12th fret. Continue the lick by playing a syncopated run using 6th and minor 6th intervals ascending the 1st and 3rd strings.
