The following Steve Cropper type lick uses the E Minor Pentatonic scale in the open position. Notice the dual string portion of the phrase played on the open and 2nd fret. Use the 3rd finger (supported by the 2nd finger) to play and bend the 2nd fret notes. End the phrase by playing the open E7 chord.
