Today's lick uses the Pull-off technique. Place your fingers on the notes to be sounded. Strike the first note (4th finger, 11th fret, 1st string) and without picking, pull the finger off to sound the second (lower) note (3rd finger, 10th fret, 1st string). Then pull that finger off to sound the last note. In this lick you'll have two pull-offs for each of the first three strings. This is a blues type of lick made from the notes of the C Dorian Minor scale (1, 2, b3, 4, 5, 6, b7). It also has an added b5 in the series of notes.
