Today's hammer-on exercise has you playing a triplet figure across all 6 strings. You may need to stretch your left hand a little bit to reach all the notes in the pattern. I suggest you use your 1st, 2nd, and 4th fingers for the whole lick. Alternate your picking from string to string. The lick is based off a D major scale pattern. The jam track is in F#m. This creates the F# Phrygian minor sound.
