Today's warm-up exercise is for the weakest finger on the left hand - the pinky/4th finger. You have to pay extra attention to this matter and build it's strength so it can keep up with your other fingers. You can play this exercise in half time or double time with the jam track. Try this simple exercise a few thousand times with or without palm muting. Notice that this riff uses 4 notes from the Am pentatonic scale.
