Today's lick is based on the G blues progression which starts by raking your pick downward on a D augmented chord. This lick sounds great when starting on the V (D) of a progression or turnaround, adding a feeling of anticipation when coming back to the top of the I (G) of the groove. Try to time the I of the progression when bending the note on the 1st string (E).
